When incorporating personal touches into a wedding, few things are as unique as highlighting passions and personality. For Ellie and Alex, this meant transforming their wedding into a curated celebration that reflected their unique interests and love story. Ellie’s love for flowers, an essential element, is incorporated by transforming the ballroom with abundant, vibrant blooms, immersing guests in a surreal garden-like ambiance. Inspired by Alex’s family’s involvement in the cheese industry, a distinctive hors d’ oeuvre display was conceived. They paid homage to their furry best friend, Moose, by serving a signature cocktail in his honor, complete with canine cocktail napkins.

Crafting a Wedding Experience with Personalized Flair

Wedding Party in Dusty Blue

Ellie and Alex envisioned their day to exude sophistication and stateliness without feeling overly formal. Knowing that the floral elements took center stage, I focused on a timeless elegance approach in crafting the wedding stationery. A thematic unity was woven seamlessly throughout, from the “EA” monogram to the dusty blue accents mirroring the wedding party’s gowns. The ceremony program, wedding invitations, and day-of paper goods continued the cohesive vision, creating a harmonious and visually stunning experience.

Timeless Elegance: Thematic Unity in Every Detail

Wedding Ceremony Program for Ellie and Alex

Planning a wedding can be an exciting yet overwhelming experience, especially when aiming to accommodate a large guest count. A grand wedding for over 450 guests required efficiency and expertise. Sorting through the extensive guest list mandated meticulous organization and attention to detail — managing every invitation and seating arrangement to a tee. A large-format seating chart, spanning 8 ft x 16 ft, facilitated the smooth flow of guests into the dining space. I approached the task with efficiency and expertise, ultimately creating a seamless experience for Ellie, Alex, and their guests.

Cheese Elegance: A Hors d'oeuvre Display Inspired by Tradition

Drawing inspiration from Alex’s family’s involvement in the cheese industry, a distinctive hors d’oeuvre display was born. The cheesemongers embraced this idea wholeheartedly, and the creative team curated a magnificent arrangement, inviting guests to indulge in the rich tradition of fine cheeses during cocktail hour. It wasn’t just about the flavors; it was a nod to family heritage and a unique touch that elevated the overall experience.

The couple paid homage to their furry best friend, Moose, in delightful ways. A signature cocktail named “Moose”, a Dirty Dog Martini, became a highlight. Moose raised his paw in “Cheers!” on the cocktail napkins, adding a playful touch to the celebration. Even the wedding cake featured Moose, capturing shared moments with their beloved Chocolate Labrador — digging a hole as labradors love to do!

Furry Friends & Signature Cocktails: A Toast to Moose

Ellie’s love for flowers took center stage in the wedding’s design, creating an enchanting atmosphere reminiscent of a surreal garden. The ballroom was transformed to fulfill their vision. Vibrant blooms adorned the ballroom abundantly, including an entire suspended overhead ceiling of lights and greenery. Cream, ivory, and blue flowers, with gold, pink, and blush accents, accentuated the statement piece. A picturesque, surreal garden-like ambiance setting that surpassed all expectations, creating an immersive experience.
