Already having a traditional Hmong wedding ceremony, Chanel and Mitchell looked to having a celebration that had a more modern westernized feel. A wedding that was a little more “them”. While the Hmong ceremony was meaningful and heartwarming, they wanted to step away from this tradition and incorporate their character into the upcoming celebration. Taking a step away from the expected showed guests their spirited side.

This super fun and whimsical stationery suite fit the bill! This 5-panel accordion-fold invitation entertainingly told their wedding story through fun illustrations and playful typography. So fun and whimsical — and full of character! This design was carried onto their ceremony program – I love that Mitchell was a good sport by letting Chanel tell their guests that she typically takes the upper hand with games they play.

Whimsical wedding invitation & ceremony program.
Whether traditional or whimsical, wedding stationery pieces play a significant role in giving guests a sneak peek to the wedding itself. Utilize them as an opportunity to allow your personality to shine through. The American Advertising Federation judges agreed that this invitation was full of character and awarded it an ADDY®.
