Have I mentioned before that I love to work on client projects that carry their design details from invitation to thank yous? Lauren & Brady are perfect examples.
Their day started at the groom’s family’s private residence for the ceremony. Since it took place outdoors, Lauren thought it would be best instead of having paper programs to highlight their wedding party via a large chalkboard. Immediately following, guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails. The Old-Fashioned undoubtedly was the signature cocktail — a Wisconsin favorite. For Lauren, half sweet, half sour with extra cherries, and for Brady, sweet.
The evening continued at the Chippewa Retreat Resort, a perfect lakeside setting. Being beckoned to “join them at the lake”, it was only fitting to name their tables after some local lakes. A sparkler send-off was the perfect way to end a great day. Lauren and Brady’s invitation suite earned itself a gold ADDY® award!
