Emily and Eric’s desire for a formal yet distinctive invitation suite led to a design celebrating nature’s elegance. They wanted their paper goods to be classic but just a little different from the expected. Green and gold, the colors of their November wedding, were carefully woven into every detail. Instead of the conventional vertical layout, the invitation took on a captivating horizontal format. The gate-folded opening added an element of surprise, hinting at the enchanting celebration to come. The interlocked flaps, rather than standard right angles, created a sense of whimsy and intrigue.
Knowing that they were using a lot of greenery in their florals, I used this detail as my inspiration. Their names were elegantly printed in gold to elevate the suite’s opulence. The gold addition not only matched their aesthetic but also added a touch of luxury. Instead of right-angle corners or even rounded corners, their invitation had skewed flaps interlocked to close. From the first glance, the invitation promised a celebration that would be both classic and delightfully unconventional.
The result? A wedding invitation suite that captured the attention and earned accolades. It wasn’t just a piece of stationery but a work of art. The invitation suite’s creativity and attention to detail earned it recognition with an ADDY award, a testament to its exceptional design, capturing attention and earning accolades as a work of art.
The beauty of Emily and Eric’s floral botanical theme continued with the wedding day paper goods. Their wedding was a symphony of greenery and elegance, with every stationery piece playing a part:
The attention to detail extended to the bar menus and dessert table signs, which adhered to the botanical floral theme. The bar menus and dessert table signs adhered to the botanical floral theme. Imagine guests perusing a menu framed by delicate leaves and subtle accents. Each sip and bite was a culinary delight and a visual feast.
The seating chart was both a practical guide and a piece of art. It continued the cohesive look, seamlessly blending botanical elements with functionality.

Every detail mattered, down to the table numbers and place cards. Each table was a mini oasis marked by a number adorned with meaningful favorite movie quotes that spoke to Emily and Eric’s love story. This small touch added warmth and personality to the reception. The elegantly displayed place cards guided guests to their seats with style, each featuring the chosen entrée illustration. Each card also displayed the greenery motif, tying back to their botanical theme.
For Emily and Eric, their wedding stationery wasn’t just about the day itself; it was about creating lasting memories. Each piece told a narrative, from the invitation suite to the place card. It wasn’t just paper and ink; it was a reflection of their love story, carefully crafted and shared with those they hold dear.
Ultimately, Emily and Eric’s botanical-inspired wedding invitations and stationery were more than paper goods. They were a glimpse into a love that bloomed and adorned their celebration — a timeless, elegant, and uniquely their love. Each element, from the invitation to the smallest detail at the reception, contributed to a cohesive and unforgettable experience for their guests. It wasn’t just a wedding; it was a botanical love story come to life.
