it begins with a conversation
in person | virtual | by phone
by appointment only
For the initial consultation, I recommend allowing about 2 hours. Before we meet, I will have you complete a Stationery Questionnaire to gain an understanding of you and your vision. Then, we will dive deep into what inspires you, your story, color palette, design aesthetic, and the overall feel of the event. Finally, we will chat about ideas, stationery styles and options, and the timing specifics. The end product will be a one-of-a-kind design that tells your story.
to start the design process
foundation inspiration board
creative design service fee
After the discovery meeting, you will receive a preliminary estimate along with a graphic foundation board that includes a color palette and inspiration images that convey design aesthetic, mood, textures, or patterns. The foundation inspiration board will serve as our design style guide. We can certainly adjust as we move through the design process — nothing is set in stone. For the design exploration to continue, a non-refundable creative design fee and a signed contract are required.
initial design ideas
Once we establish a sense of style, we will move on to the design exploration phase. You’ll complete a detailed form to capture the information and wording needed. Custom stationery means we start with a blank sheet of paper and design from the ground up. You will experience a collaborative process in which we will mirror your vision and bring it to life. I will guide you through the details, including verbiage and etiquette.
Through your client portal, the initial design ideas will be shared. At this time, the design concept is paired with a price quote. The conceptual design process allows for refinements and typically takes two to three rounds to get the desired outcome. Accompanying pieces are incorporated with the same cohesive aesthetic once the initial concept is accepted. Fine-tune adjustments and quantity changes are accommodated until the artwork is production approved.

assembly | addressing | mailing
An 80% down payment is required to proceed to production, with the remaining balance due upon delivery. Once the design is approved, necessary materials are ordered, and the artwork is sent off to trusted print houses and partners. I will expertly manage the printing and production of your stationery.
Each project is executed with meticulous attention to detail and flawless hand-craftsmanship. Your invitations will be assembled and envelopes addressed. Orders can take 4 to 8 weeks to produce and are determined by the design’s complexity and production methods. Arrangements can be made to overlook on-site delivery and set-up for day-of events (based on availability).
Directed by our timelines, we will revisit our initial conversation and discuss any day-of coordinating pieces. We’ll talk about items such as ceremony or event programs, escort cards, table numbers, dinner menus, event signage, welcome gifts or favors, thank-yous, and much more! These final details will then be designed to coordinate with all of your event pieces. Maintaining consistently designed elements ensures a cohesive message for your guests.
