Do I love you? My God, if your love were a grain of sand, mine would be a universe of beaches. ~William Goldman
Mara & Marc came to me looking for simplistic yet personalized wedding stationery pieces. I used imagery representing their beach wedding: seagrass abundant along the Gulf shores of Apalachicola Bay and a Florida Panhandle historical map to mirror the circa-1907 Gibson Inn. Keeping true to the natural color palette of the region, their color palette of sea glass green, ecru, and light khaki greeted guests throughout the weekend, from save-the-dates to their invitations to day-of pieces.
Simple does not mean boring! Upon delivery, the subtle letterpress blind impression sleeve delighted their guests as they opened their invitation. Hotel bags with the same beach seagrass illustration welcomed out-of-town guests, complete with a few treats and information to enjoy Apalachicola’s quaint town. At the evening’s end, guests parted ways with a flask of whiskey – a pleasure that brought Mara & Marc together in the first place — and Marc aged himself!
