HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAYDEN | JUNE 2016

4 May 2017

When your son is into LEGOs®, I mean REALLY into LEGOs, it is kind of a must to have a LEGO themed birthday party. And, when your son is really into Star Wars, it is also a must to have a Star Wars themed party.

But when your son is into both LEGOs and Star Wars, it is definitely a must to combine the two.

Each boy was given a LEGO Star Wars figurine along with the invitation. Naturally the party was held at the local Bricks & Minifigs and was filled with fun building activities and eating. The boys left the party with their own lightsaber and a smile on their face, especially the birthday boy!

Today was only fitting that I put this post up – May the Forth be with you! (ha ha – get it? Today is May 4th. Forth be with you – Force be with you).

Venue: Bricks & Minifigs

STEFANIE & MICHAEL | 28 MARCH 2015 || Custom Wedding Invitations; silk box invitations, Madison, Wisconsin

15 May 2015

Eleven weeks. Yes, from start to finish, we were able to pull off this unbelievable wedding stationery suite in eleven short (and very quick) weeks—AND we were on vacation for two of those!!

ShoesStefanie & Michael frequent Paris often and wanted that to be a source of inspiration for their wedding. Romantic, elegant, old-world, golds, detailed. Stefanie’s fantastic shoes were also a great source of inspiration. We couldn’t pass up on the incredible detailing on her shoes.

Each of their invitations were sent out in a box. Upon opening the shipping box, invited guests were presented with a Thai silk invitation box wrapped beautifully with a thick ivory satin ribbon. Inside housed the main invitation printed on metallic paper stock in golds and dark grey along with the necessary enclosures.

Stefanie & Michael’s day-of pieces followed with the same look and feel making one cohesive look. Starting the day out with ceremony programs and tags for the flower petal toss bags.

Personalized menus greeted their guests at dinner by starting the meal off with Veuve Clicquot Rose Champagne. Stefanie and Michael each had their own signature drink: Lemon Drop Martini for Stefanie and Brandy Old Fashion Sour for Michael. (Which to choose?!)

And the desserts! Oh my! Wedding cake (2 flavors), Eiffel Tower sugar cookies (of course!), cupcakes (4 yummy flavors), and chocolate covered strawberries. Even Stefanie admits that they might have gone overboard with the desserts. But I think not! You can never have enough dessert!

Lastly, to bring the design elements full circle, thank you notecards. Which I’m sure were written after their honeymoon in St. Thomas!
